Maximizing Credit Cards this Holiday (Shopping) Season

Today is December 1 and only 24 days to Christmas! As such, everyone is busy spending and shopping for gifts to family and friends. Some of us like to use cash in purchasing but using credit cards (just make sure to pay fully on due date) is the way to go for me! To maximize these credit cards, we have to take advantage of the different promotions of the credit card brands here in the Philippines!

PNB Cards

Spend as low as Php2,000.00 and you can already get something in return.

I claimed my Large Gong Cha Milk Tea with Pearl Jelly from Gong Cha Philippines yesterday. It’s so easy to claim, you just tell the cashier that you will be claiming your free milk tea from PNB Cards. Show your credit card and they will swipe it, they don’t even need your charge slip anymore.

It’s either this Php95.00 worth of milk tea from Gong Cha Philippines or Php100.00 worth of The SM Store GC.

BDO Cards

Spend a minumum of Php3,000.00 and get Php100.00 worth of GCs.

Once you have your charge slip, it’s better to pre-register and get your codes at the BDO Treats Website. This is to save you time when claiming at the affiliate stores of Bench and at branches of Pancake House.

When claiming, give your card and your charge slips with written codes and wait for them to issue you your GC.

CITIBANK Cards

Spend Php800.00 at National Book Store and get gift cards worth Php150.00.

I haven’t tried this yet but this sure is a good deal. We could buy a lot of school and office supplies over at NBS that could work as Christmas gifts too!

METROBANK Cards

If you have a Metrobank Toyota Mastercard, you could have treats from McDo! Spend of Php2,000.00 gives you McDonald’s treats while a Php3, 000.00 spend will give you an eGC.

Who doesn’t want a McDonald’s treat?

Do take note of each promo’s redemption period. Read the terms and conditions to save you the hassle of arguing with the respective banks.
